Growing up in the East Texas area couldn’t have been better for me, I have a large family and many friends in the Lakes Area. I grew up in a good Christian home with a Mother and Father who believed that honest hard work pays off and you always do the right thing. I put their beliefs to the test and they were right, it always comes back to you.
I was fortunate enough to marry my best friend Amy, she is the true strength behind everything I have done throughout my life. Together we have three awesome young men, Tyler who is working towards a medical degree and also Director of Operations in Sabine County. Hunter attends Hemphill High School and Angelina College and Hudson who also attends Hemphill High School.
I started my career as a logger in the 90’s and was blessed to work alongside my Dad for many years. In 2000 the logging industry took a hit and I was forced to look for other opportunities, I worked in the local rock mines for a while and also in the industrial petro plants across America with no satisfaction in what I was accomplishing. In 2005 I decided to return to school and work in the medical field, as usual my wonderful family was behind me. I entered the Prehospital field in the beautiful Shelby County area and soon became one of the leaders in forming San Augustine County EMS. Not long after my experience with SACEMS I was approached by members of the Sabine County Hospital District to help with their ongoing efforts in starting their own EMS service and I accepted the challenge.
Working in the medical field exposed the desire to help others, that desire is rarely ever satisfied. I decided to become a Realtor for this very reason and vow to put my clients first. I know buying a home is the signal most important investment in most people’s life and I want to be there when you make that decision.
